Conditions Treated

What conditions is it used for?

Any neuropathic pain condition can be relieved using external neuromodulation.

It is ideally suited to where the pain is chronic (i.e. established and not relieved for some considerable length of time). There are differing views of when pain turns from acute to chronic but it is normally said to be chronic after a period of 3 or 6 months. In these cases the body’s nervous system can become altered or damaged and even if the original injury has repaired, the body may continue to feel the pain. That is potentially why amputees will still feel pain in a limb that is no longer there. External neuromodulation targets that affected nerve and breaks the pain cycle to effectively “reboot” the body’s nerve system.

Acute neuropathic pain can also be relieved using external neuromodulation.

Pain relief can be gained for the following conditions:
  • Sciatica lower back and leg pain
  • Shoulder and neck pain
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Facial pain and TMJ
  • Bel’s Palsy
  • Thoracic back pain
  • Repetitive strain injury
  • Tennis/golfer’s elbow
  • Knee issues
  • Achilles tendonitis
  • Ankle and feet pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Sporting injuries
  • Post operative nerve pain
  • CRPS – Other nerve related pain
  • Post Herpetic neuralgia (post shingles)
