After just one session, the improvement was nothing short of remarkable!

I’m a 63 year old professional musician and violin teacher. I’m at an age when most people are considering retirement, but I’m nowhere near ready to do that just yet! Playing the violin has always been such a key part of my life and I was devastated to discover that I had developed a frozen shoulder about 8 months ago. It came on quite slowly but before too long, the movement in my left arm and shoulder had become so restricted that I couldn’t even lift my violin up, let alone play anything. The pain was so dreadful at times, it made me stop, crouch down, cry and swear … and I never swear usually! I knew I had to fix it, asap, and my first port of call was my GP who put me in touch with a physiotherapist. The daily exercises were excruciating as I tried to push through the pain and stiffness. Progress was slow and minimal but I persisted for a couple of months. I began contemplating a life without playing and teaching. I felt as though I was letting my pupils down and sank to a pretty low point.

I happened to mention my problems to a friend one day and it turned out to be exactly the right friend to talk to. She’d recently had 3 sessions with Keith to release a trapped nerve and was 100% cured. She put me in touch with him at the Horsham Nerve Pain Practice and it was definitely the best decision. After just one session, the improvement was nothing short of remarkable! I will never forget driving home that day with a huge grin on my face. Not only had the discomfort subsided but my mood had lifted considerably. It made me realise how much of a psychological burden chronic pain is when you have to carry it around with you everywhere you go.

I’m 4 sessions into my treatment now and we’re about 90% there! I’m back to full playing and teaching without restriction. Thank you, Keith, for getting my life back on track so quickly and effectively. Thanks also to my lovely pupils for being so patient and understanding!

I was really pleased to be such a help to Lesley. A frozen shoulder is a debilitating and painful condition and in Lesley’s case was really affecting her ability to continue her work and musical passion. I used external neuromodulation on the Brachial Plexus set of nerves which activates a large motor response and this released the constriction around the rotator cuff. The technique is fast acting and most importantly can give massive improvements without having to undergo more invasive approaches.
